Philips to acquire PLI

Philips announced that they have reached an agreement to acquire Partners in Lighting (PLI), the leading European manufacturer of home luminaires and mother company of TRIO-Leuchten. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter 2007.

Trio Leuchten GmbH has joined to the international Group „Partners in Lighting International NV . Trio Leuchten will continue to operate in its key channels and continue its own marketing and sales strategy. Partners in Lighting International (PLI) will assist on sourcing, production and international logistics.
